Why operators switch from VTee Golf to Simbook

Specific, defensible differences. Not "we're better at everything."

1

Their kiosk is local lockdown. Ours talks back.

VTee's kiosk mode is software-only Windows automation on the existing sim PC. Lock the PC at session end, auto-launch the sim at QR check-in, kill the process when done. Real, but local. Simbook ships a kiosk client at each bay that reports state back to your Control Room in realtime. You see bay status from your phone, push commands back, and get heartbeats. Different category of visibility.

2

We do racing. They don't.

VTee is golf only. If you run racing rigs or plan to add them, Simbook is the only platform that runs both sports on one stack. Proven across four Hacktivist Sports venues today.

3

We have third-party validation. They don't yet.

VTee has zero independent reviews on Capterra, G2, or TrustRadius as of May 2026. Their site references one customer (Columbia, SC). Simbook runs production at four venues across PA today. See the live numbers above. Different stages of customer base.

What VTee Golf is genuinely good at

Operators picking a platform deserve an honest read. Here's where VTee Golf wins.

  • Cheapest published pricing in the category ($75/mo flat or $0.50/booking).
  • Real feature breadth: leagues, tiered memberships, weekly recurring tournaments, automatic handicap calculation.
  • Software-only Windows lockdown gets unmanned-bay operation working without dedicated kiosk hardware.
  • Square POS integration is built in.

Which one is right for you?

Pick Simbook if…

You're running multiple bays, want bay-level realtime visibility, plan to add racing alongside golf, or expect to franchise. You want a vendor with live production deployments and third-party validation.

Pick VTee Golf if…

You're a single-bay home-style operator with one sim, you're optimizing on cost, you don't need bay-level realtime control, and you're comfortable being an early customer with limited public reviews available.
