About Simbook
Bookings, payments, and bay control for indoor golf venues. Every feature exists because we needed it ourselves.

James Russell
Founder, Simbook. Operator, Hacktivist Sports.
I built Simbook because the tools available to indoor simulator lounges in 2022 did not fit how a real lounge actually runs. We tried Square. We tried Mindbody. We tried a stack of duct-taped spreadsheets and a Google Calendar. None of them understood what a bay rental was, what a 30-minute weekly league slot was, or what to do when a sim crashed mid-session.
Three years later I have four Hacktivist Sports venues across Pennsylvania (three currently operating, one closed). 660+ customers. The software runs every minute of business at every location. Bookings, payments, kiosks at every bay, leagues, customer management. All in one platform.
Then other operators started asking what we were running. So we opened it up.
Three currently operating, four total. Simbook runs every bay at every location.

Most simulator-venue software is built by people who have never run a Saturday night rush at a lounge. They have not stood at the front desk while a kiosk freezes mid-session. They have not refunded a customer whose Trackman crashed. They have not designed a league that pays for itself.
Every feature in Simbook exists because James needed it at one of his venues. The Control Room exists because he wanted to see his bays from his couch on a Friday night. Pay-with-Friends exists because 40%+ of sim groups split payment. League entitlements exist because he runs leagues himself and got tired of the spreadsheets.
When you buy Simbook you are not buying a deck. You are buying the operating system we use ourselves at four venues every day.
